- Visit Reception
This is where we provide the best possible start for your child at school. Take a look and see how learning through structured play is effective and how the children have access to the six areas of learning.
- Visit Year 1
First year of the National curriculum can be daunting for some children. At Cradle Hill our caring staff ensure this transition is smooth and that we build on the standards achieved in the reception year.
- Visit Year 2
In year 2 we continue the creative theme and children enjoy learning and being able to self assess and improve their work.
- Visit Year 3
The first year of the Juniors can also be daunting for children even in an all through primary school. We begin this transition at the end of year 2 with joint playtimes, and current year3 children writing letters to the year 2 children telling them all about life in KS 2.
- Visit Year 4
The cross curricular theme continues and the topic based approach to learning is enjoyed by the pupils, staff and parents.
- Visit Year 5
In year 5 we ensure that learning remains fun and fulfilling, whilst maintaining the rigour that is needed to ensure the school’s standards remain high.
- Visit Year 6
The final year of primary school can be sad for the children as they sometimes don’t want to leave. We ensure that the preparation for secondary education is thorough and that children have fulfilled the vision for their futures.
- Visit KS1 and KS2
This is where we embrace our school moto "Your Child + Our Vision = Their Future" and inform our parents about cross-Key Stage working and whole school initiatives and projects.
